Description

Zero Waste Bamboo Fibre toothbrush is a must-replacement to plastic ones which have become one of the biggest cause of plastic waste worldwide.

Made of bamboo with bamboo fibre bristles, this toothbrush is 100% natural, 100% biodegradable and 100% earth-friendly. Ergonomic design of the handle and soft-to-medium bristle make it suitable for the whole family – write your name on the handle using a permanent marker.

To prolong its lifecycle, rub the handle with a little bit of oil – this will protect the handle from moisture damage. At the end of its life cycle simply place the toothbrush in the brown bin for decomposting.

Bamboo Fibre Bristles Toothbrush from Little Comfort™ is designed and produced with extra care for the environment in mind to help reduce the burden of plastic waste on the planet. Plastic toothbrushes contribute to the tremendous volume of plastic waste which continues to build up and have a negative impact on wildlife.

Bamboo is a fast-growing plant of the grass family with the self-renewing ability which eliminates the problem of deforestation. After the end of its life cycle bamboo can be returned to the landfill or placed in the compost bin.

But it is not only the handle that matters. Instead of using nylon bristles, we opted for bamboo fibre bristles – a material extracted from the bamboo plant and coated with biodegradable polymer to retain shape.

One bamboo toothbrush per person saves an estimated 100 000 tonnes of plastic waste.

Use and care

Wash before the first use.

Knock solids into toilet and store in a diaper pail – no soaking needed.

Wash in warm water (40°C washing cycle is recommended) using washing detergent only. Do not use liquid detergents / tablets, bleach, optical brighteners or fabric conditioners. Using pre-wash programme prepares your nappy load for better washing results during main washing cycle, and additional rinsing cycle complements the freshness of the wash. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron.

Use and care

Wash before the first use.

Knock solids into toilet and store in a diaper pail – no soaking needed.

Wash in warm water (40°C washing cycle is recommended) using washing detergent only. Do not use liquid detergents / tablets, bleach, optical brighteners or fabric conditioners. Using pre-wash programme prepares your nappy load for better washing results during main washing cycle, and additional rinsing cycle complements the freshness of the wash. Line dry. Do not iron.

What is a snood?

A snood is a cloth covering the neck. It is similar to an infinity scarf, which is a looped scarf that sits around the neck. The main difference is that a snood sits higher on the neck and can often act like a hood (well, that’s the main reason for it to be called “snood” – “scarf” + “hood”).
