What is a snood?
A snood is a cloth covering the neck. It is similar to an infinity scarf, which is a looped scarf that sits around the neck. The main difference is that a snood sits higher on the neck and can often act like a hood (well, that’s the main reason for it to be called “snood” – “scarf” + “hood”).
It is a tubular garment joined together and has extra fabric that will cover and keep your neck-ear-head area warm. It is extremely effective at lower temperatures and has a loose fit for comfort. It also gives an option to wear it under a coat or jacket, or over – some little fashionistas are truly proud of theirs and are very keen to show off!
